I delivered this kind of difficult feedback and a list of expectations and success measures (like an unofficial PIP) to a staff member who just hasn’t taken accountability for their work for over a year. I truly want them to improve. But if they choose not to, it’ll proceed to a PIP and possible termination. The ball’s in their court and I’ll try my best to support them.

Oh yeah I know my company is going to be letting me go soon. Negative performance review a few weeks ago, sudden change in duties. I totally don't blame them though, I 100% have been checked out for awhile now once I knew it didn't want to work there anymore and started applying elsewhere. I just hope I at least find something before I'm fired.

Yes, from a previous job I had the manager at that time gave hints. Plus it was a toxic environment I take it who I was ruffled some personalities and wanted me gone. Also I was put on a pip . End point I was glad to move on from there
