@crmnallyobsessed: Dr. Kelly McDonough, the emergency room physician who treated Lindsay Clancy after the deaths of her three children, took the stand today in Clancy's murder trial. During cross-examination, McDonough had a tense exchange with defense attorney Kevin Reddington as he questioned her testimony and treatment of Clancy on January 24, 2023. The courtroom exchange quickly became one of the day's most talked-about moments. Do you think Dr. McDonough was being unprofessional, showing bias, or simply doing her job? #LindsayClancy #TrueCrime #ERPhysician
As a nurse, I would never remember the fucking temperature of a patient three years ago he’s being absolutely unreasonable

she’s very unprofessional. this was not sprung on her. she was instructed to prepare for this trial. her attitude towards the defense vs the prosecution was also shocking to see.

Sorry but a doctor going on a trial for MURDER should review the medical records which are available, she had plenty of time. This is just incompetent.

Yall are missing the point - she reviewed the chart. But she cannot misspeak on anything. If she does, he’ll immediately move to disqualify her as a testimony. Hence why she refers to the record.

A doctor cannot remember everyone’s core body temp from 3 years ago when they see about 200/month. I really dislike this attorney.

Nah bc I worked for a physician who was called to court, that woman went over those records for a week straight nonstop before she had to go to court. And it wasn’t a 💀 case.

I'm pretty sure she is allowed to bring her records and notes with her. I felt like she was showing bias against the defense which as a medical professional, especially a doctor should never do.

I don’t think the expectation is that she remembers much about the case but it is a case that is unusual and I’m sure in her lifetime. She didn’t have many cases like this. Come to her . That lawyer is 100% correct did she not review anything before coming in? Did she come to court to say I don’t remember to every question that was asked

The level of - I don't care from the people in the stand is fascinating. Like she came to drink coffee and someone is bothering her.

He’s doing his job and he’s doing it well. In America, as a defendant, your goal is simply to create or expose reasonable doubt regarding the prosecution's case… that’s exactly what he’s doing.

She knows what she charted. Why? Because any normal healthcare provider would review those records up and down like a million times specifically if you’re going to a trial

When you are a witness in a trial you get prepared. You review your past notes you come prepared. No one expects someone to really remember something from three years ago when you treat hundreds of patience, however when you are called as a witness, you do your due diligence and refresh your memory to the best of your ability. She did nothing.

Sounds like she was able to review the record. A body temperature of 82 is not common. That would stand out to me
