I used to work in a cinema, that’s a movie theatre for US. One of the perks was when ever we got new flavours of popcorn, new food items such as new nacho dips things like that in. Staff would get some ahead of time so we knew what we were selling and what it tasted like.

some restaurants want you to actually know what the wine taste like. nobody's sitting around drinking full glasses of wine. They also pair it with food so that you know which wines go better with which types of sauces which wine is good with desserts especially like chocolate etc. exactly how do you think your server gets the knowledge?
