girl omg all my top ones are pretty much silver fillings and I also feel so insecure but I was told that changing them will just cause more damage and it’s best to wait until you actually have an issue with them to replace them to avoid having to do root canals or crowns😣

My husband had the black fillings girl and switched them for the white and now are super sensitive! When before they never were!

I'm a dentist, and I very strongly recommend you stick with silver fillings. Not only do they lay longer, they are also a lot better for your long term dental health. So if you ever need to get any replaced I recommend you get new silver fillings, or metal/gold inlays if you can afford them. If you get white fillings you are more likely to get sensitive teeth, need root canal treatment, crowns, or even losing teeth long term.

Working in dental for +25 yrs if you where my sister if you don’t have decay leave them because replacing them can cause severe sensitivity, possibly root canals and crowns

Ok I had the same problem and I was also super insecure. Got them all re-done to the white ones and I haven’t had any problems and I love my smile 💁🏻♀️
