The order, granted on July 27, 2026, by Justice Charity Akosua Asem, a Justice of the Court of Appeal sitting as an additional High Court judge, affects five bank accounts and four landed properties. The freezing order also covers accounts and assets linked to the former accountant of IMCCoD, Gerald Appiah, and a company, Hillside Piggery and Meat Processing Limited. The order followed an application by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), which is investigating the respondents for alleged financial malfeasance.
