alright, hear me out, drop that temp to 220, smoke until burger hits 165, and do all the meat on a rack directly over onions garlic and butter mixture so juices drip directly into the pan, that way you dont lose any flavor, and season the burger with a sweet and savory rub that would complement a sloppy joe
