a hack i learned a couple of years ago is that all the backpacks have a warranty so you can send it in to jansport and they will fix your backpack if it gets ruined. there’s more information on the website im pretty sure

I once left my calculator in my backpack while it was in the washer and didn't know until I put it in the dryer and this loud banging kept happening

Ur supposed to have them inside out and the zippers open and wash and then u can leave them to air dry and ur good

I still have mine from high school over 25 years ago and it has been through the wash. Many many times. Might be a little faded now, but it still work.
