@kinlong05lee: Octopus Robin Hood Moved After Being Caught Feeding Kennel Dog Employees at a Petco became confused after arriving one morning and finding a trail of water stretching from the aquarium section to the kennel room. At first, they assumed there was a leak or that someone had mopped the floor without telling anyone or placing a warning sign. Then dog treats began disappearing, so workers decided to check the overnight security cameras. The footage revealed that a new octopus, which had arrived at the store just five days earlier, was climbing out of its uncovered tank after closing and making its way across the store. Once it reached the kennel room, it began pushing kibble and treats through the bars to one of the dogs, earning it the nickname Robin Hood. Researchers explained that octopuses are extremely intelligent and curious animals. Although they are usually solitary, this particular octopus had reportedly been raised around people and public environments since it was young. They believe that once the store became dark and quiet, it may have gone searching for the interaction and companionship it was used to.
