If the only foreigners left in Japan are foreigners living better lives than locals because they earn more money, who will Japanese people look down on?

They require foreign workers to pay into the pension system, but at the same time, they make it difficult for us to retire in Japan. Although we can claim a lump-sum withdrawal when we leave, the payment is still subject to deductions, meaning we don't receive the full amount we contributed.

Last guy who supports the new law, is of course, an idiot. Per capita rates of foreigner crime are historically low, and remain low, and the vast majority of the increase in crime volume among foreigners is actually tourists and people on short term stays. Violent crime also represents less than 1% of total foreign crime offenses, 60-70% of which are small petty theft. Classic moron who checks twitter and sees one anecdote and extrapolates it into a an issue that actually doesn’t exist.
