Google lens is incredibly helpful to identify unique and high-end brands since they’re so many of them that might not be mainstream and we might not know the names so it is good for that

What about if after you take a picture with Google lens you ask the AI in Google lens to give you the list of prices of top platforms and they give you the breakdown of all the platforms listing price and what to sell it for can you go by that?

I wanted to add to the last part of your video ('be kind to people who use the wrong online information or use the information in a wrong way'): Years ago I priced a purse at my garage sale (had used eBay) and told an interested customer. She kindly showed me the COMPLETED and SOLD filters in eBay...uh, best information ever!

Also, don't always take Google lens as gospel on identification! I've scanned items I know the brand and pattern of and it's given me the wrong item... And has said things were a certain brand/pattern that I know it wasn't.

I use google lens for identification only and then research comps seperatly. It is annoying that google doesnt give the range on all the listings it finds, I wish they did. As for yard and estate sales... there are so many good items out there, abundance is all around. If I see outrageous pricing or little notes about ebay pricing I dont even say anything, I take a quick pass to see if they have items they think are worthless and didn't bother with and then move on. It's just not for me. IMO educating at a sale is wasting time and energy. No one actually appreciates unsolicited feedback and estate sales around here are super rigid, like the price is the price so get over it. Since their mindset is typically max value, you couldnt negotiate enough of a margin to make it worth your time anyway.
