@wickedmedia2: A 2-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert late Sunday night was found unresponsive on the Northwest Side, according to San Antonio police. Aryana Trevino Martinez was pronounced dead just after 12:10 a.m. Monday, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. Officers responded to a report of a missing child around 8 p.m. Sunday in the 4700 block of Allegheny Drive, which is located not far from Babcock Road. According to an SAPD preliminary report, Martinez’s relatives told SAPD that she wandered away from home. A search quadrant was subsequently implemented and “multiple resources” were deployed. At around 12:01 a.m. Monday, officers said Martinez was found unresponsive in a brush area near the 4700 block of Allegheny Drive, where she was last seen. An SAPD investigator on the scene told KSAT that Martinez was located in an overgrown, water-filled creek area behind Belle Ellen. Martinez was later pronounced dead, the report said. Her cause and manner of death remain under investigation. Though it’s unclear how Martinez ended up in the water, the investigator said she was captured on video walking alone in an alley before her death. The AMBER Alert issued for Martinez was canceled around 3 a.m. Monday, according to SAPD and the Texas Department of Public Safety. Authorities are seeking additional video to rule out whether Martinez was with anyone else. SAPD said its investigation is ongoing. #fyp #crime #amberalert #mycondolencestothefamily #sanantonio
