@katy_culver: Frozen mashed potatoes. Next time you make mashed potatoes, make a large batch. After they’re cooked and mashed, place (what you’re wanting to freeze) in a separate bowl to cool. Once cool, either freeze in vacuum sealed bags or Souper cubes. Portion them out to what your family eats per meal. When you’re ready to eat them, either thaw in the fridge or cook from frozen. If frozen, add the frozen mashed potatoes and milk to a pot. Since they’re frozen, they will take a little longer. Once thawed and warmed up, add butter and whatever seasoning you typically add. No peeling and no boiling. “Instant” mashed potatoes don’t have to come in a pouch. They can come right from your freezer. *if you flatten the bag before freezing, the mashed potatoes thaw much quicker . . . #baking #cooking #madefromscratch #homemade #homemadefood @Souper Cubes
