I feel like yes even though what Adam did was wrong and IS wrong we also have to remember abusers of COCSA are also victims as no child is that way without being taught or exposed to it amd even if he did have a reason its also implying Adam had a reason(not an excuse) to be the way he was and the way the EVD fandom ignores that completely takes away from real representation of sa especially if its implied they were both in childhood when it happened making Adam seem as a monster when we was a kid too. yes what he did was wrong but bashing on Adam because of it is ignoring that he MIGHTVE also been a victim of something which I feel takes away from the complexity of Tobias's trauma and reluctance to hate Adam

Honestly I had to drop the series after realizing that one of the big traumas was going to be SA. It’s a super common thing in the artist community to use it as vent or angst material and while I love that the artist are comfortable enough to vent publicly about it, I as a person who has been SA’d don’t want to be reminded of it every time it’s 2AM while doomscrolling.
