God please restore my relationship.. This relationship deserves another chance. We deserve another chance. I’m not perfect. I made HUGE mistakes. I didn’t show enough care. I didn’t put in a lot of effort. I didn’t see the signs and I didn’t grow with you. I recognize that and I understand where I went wrong. I want to restore what we had. I want to grow old and grow much more with you. We can build healthy. We can build right. I don’t want you back, I want us to communicate, I want to build, I want to grow, I want to be here when you’re breaking down. Honesty, communication, transparency. Divorced for two years. Watched each other grow individually while co-parenting. Eventually we started having the conversations we should’ve had when we were married but didn’t know how. We’re not going back to what we once had, we’re building something new, something stronger. We’re in therapy to continue learning new skills and repair the damage done in the 11 years we were together. The last 3.5 months we’ve been back have been the most vulnerable and honest we’ve been in the almost 14 years we’ve known each other. It’s been really beautiful. Eye opening.

Please let me change and be better for her. Show the effort that she wanted for years. She’s allowing me to be friends and learn to love her the way she wanted to be loved because she gave me everything. I gave her nothing in return. A couple nice expensive dates but she didn’t want that. She wanted effort, she wanted signs of love besides words. She’s everything to me and I need to be everything she wanted me to be not the bare minimum.

I got that faith in restoring our relationship, we can do it and do it for the right reason! i pray constantly for us, i pray that God align me as a man , to become that leader for her is spiritual maturity, emotional intelligence maturity, that i can help her grow in ways God has aligns us to. Only God can do it man! , praying for all yall that’s dealing with this! God does things for a reason, maybe we all was idolizing that girl or that person over God so God caused a separation to see the overall point of a relationship, to seek him first in everything, he’s the priority! Don’t sit a feel bad about these situations man, it’s hard i know but the brighter side God is bringing you closer to him, and “suddenly” God will bring yall back if it’s in his will , so seek God and pray, have faith ! it goes a long way! he sees , he listens !
