According to reports, the Deputy Superintendent for Operations at Monrovia Central Prison has been arrested over allegations that he helped suspected Colombian drug dealers communicate with their associates and allegedly received money linked to the network. The case is still under investigation, and the allegations have not yet been proven in court. Now here's the question... If someone trusted to help keep dangerous people under control is accused of working with an alleged criminal network, what does that say about the system? Is this just one person's alleged actions, or could it be a sign of a deeper problem that needs to be addressed?
