Don’t get me wrong—I love Spider-Man. I like Marvel, DC, all of them. But the reason this movie most likely broke records is because we haven’t had many good movies lately. It’s been dry. We got a weak Superman, a disappointing Fantastic Four, and not much else worth getting excited about. People have been waiting for something that actually looks good. That’s probably why this one broke records. If you really think about it, the movie industry hasn’t been the same since COVID. There haven’t been many blockbuster movies that made people rush to the theater. Hollywood has been lagging big time.😳
