Bone is one of the only tissues in your body that can heal without leaving a scar. Here's exactly how it happens. 🦴 The moment a bone breaks, your body immediately forms a blood clot around the fracture site to stop bleeding and kickstart the healing process. Over the following days and weeks, that clot is gradually replaced by a soft cartilage callus, essentially a flexible bridge connecting the two broken ends together.
