Because there's a difference between ending a pregnancy and being an absent father
In abortion, the unborn child is already gone and you don't have to pay for anything
But when you leave your partner while she already had a child without paying child support, you're purposely choosing to be an absent father and the child will grow up fatherless and the mother would have to work extra hard just to provide for herself and her child

Once a child exists, both parents can have financial responsibilities toward them. Bodily autonomy doesn't mean a parent can opt out of providing for their child's basic needs.
