I've seen a few episodes, every time I see that tortured boy, sheer terror in those beautiful eyes because he's terrified of himself & the humanity he's locked away, dropping lines about how he can't live like other men, all I can think is "estrogen could save her" 😭

The main story is the political conflict between the communist and the right wing, and their attempts to shut down the red light district. There’s a lot of drama revolving Roberto‘s aunties. It’s fun, though. I haven’t finished it yet.

It’s a big ensemble cast, so they’re prominent but there is a separate “main” character with his own storyline that takes precedence. It is really good though, just be prepared that they’re one of three storylines.

I watched all of it in 4 days, it has one of my fav queer characters of all time, and it also sent me down a rabbit hole of learning about 50 years of Brazilian political history. 10/10 no notes

theyre not really the “MAIN MAIN” characters in a way, a huge plot of it surrounds politics and other characters. The scenes you see on timtok are onlu like 5-10 minutes in the actual episode (btw the episodes are sometimes an hour long)
