B. Savings n checking r the same amount just split differently between the two accounts. Only difference is the amount invested in the brokerage which option b has more invested.

option A? they save the majority of their paycheck and only keep what is necessary in their checking account. option b keeps half their check in checking, ready to be spent. so option A is safer as they know how to budget and finance and save

Option B is slightly better financially overall because even though both are 22 and have $0 debt B has about $80,205 total compared with A’s $78,610 so B is ahead by roughly $1,595. B also has more in their brokerage account ($19,543 vs. $17,948), which means a little more money is invested for potential long term growth. However A has a much stronger emergency cash position because they have $60,140 in savings, compared with B’s $36,377. B has $24,285 sitting in checking, which is a lot of cash that could potentially be moved into a high-yield savings account or invested depending on their needs. So A is more conservative and cash heavy while B has slightly more wealth and a little more invested and honestly either situation at 22 with no debt and around $80k saved /invested is excellent.

A, since more in savings (assuming high yield%) means greater interest amount; this is only the first step

A but I would personally move more into a brokerage account and out of savings. I would rather have money saved for an emergency then just sitting in my account

to compare, I subtracted 521.69 from 24,284.57 and got 23,762.88 and then added that to 36,377.25 and the total was 60,140.13. Even if you were to transfer your checking into the savings so that the checking account in option b were to equal option a, option a would have a few more cents in savings but closer to 2000 in investments.
