The actual job itself, in my opinion, is not hard. What is hard is trying to keep up with the amount of orders corporate thinks our tiny backroom can handle, on top of being understaffed 90% of the time. The communication in my store is nearly nonexistent and almost all of my coworkers want to do nothing but pick all day and complain if they have to do anything else. I don't exactly like picking or dispensing myself, but I knew what I was signing up for when I applied for the job

it's only easy so long as everyone is working and keeping everything flowing correctly and on time as soon as there is a screw up a call out a misstaged item or tote a dropped Dolly going out the door because the ledge is stupidly large someone had to go to the bathroom right before the rush or all 15 of your delivery drivers decide they're going to be sitting in the parking lot 10 minutes ahead of time so they can all check in on top of each other or you've got that one customer who you have to spend 5 minutes digging through their entire order taking out their rejections that's when things start to go downhill and once they start going downhill there is never enough trained and skilled labor in the store to get it back on track with anything that could be considered ease or quick

BEGINNING of the month is ALWAYS the worst! Big ass delivery orders big ass pick up orders. Middle of the month slows down Christmas and thanksgiving is HORRIBLE.

u forgot to say OGP backroom team is hard, at least my store treats us like the red headed step child with leaving 3 of us to stage, prep, depense, and restock the carts with it being 106 outside
