Tom Hardy lives near my Dad. Dad had a brain infection that left him paralysed and mentally impaired (dad’s words not mine) that means he just can’t remember some things. When he had just got out of hospital and had moved to the area, Dad had a hard time buying a pint of milk in the shop and who helped him? Tom Hardy. He made Dad feel seen and that someone cared enough to help him out when he was struggling. I will always have massive respect for Tom Hardy.

I do love Tom Harry as Venom. Yea those movies are bad but he actually brings life into the character and hopefully he gets another chance to play Venom again.

I agree with you but I think the comparisons between Jonah Hills comments and Tom Hardy's comments are slightly unfair. Due to the roles they're known for I'd imagine Hardy is met with much more respect when it comes to doing a combat sport (I know people who unironically think he can fight because he played Bane) in contrast I'd imagine Jonah Hill has more of an uphill battle to be accepted with people calling him the "fat one from Superbad". I don't particularly like Hills comments and I certainly wouldn't make them myself but I feel like he's probably got a chip on his shoulder from fighting to be taken seriously.

I can't defend the Venom movies are good. But Tom’s version of Brock and Venom will always have a special place in my heart cause you can tell the actor loves the character. He's said that venom is the voice he gives his dogs if they could talk which is just delightful

Damn Im also AuDHD. Diagnosis brought me a lot clarity on understanding why I struggled so much in social settings. Martial arts and other sports were the few spaces it felt easier for me to form bonds with others. it’s really cool to see someone with his platform be open about it.

He has such a healthy outlook when it pertains to BJJ. He's so humble and actually competes which I dig. Johan would get folded by literal children and probably bitch about it. Love Tom Hardy. He's incredible. His mentality surrounding BJJ was exactly how I approached it. Can't wait to pick it back up again. 💕
