I’m a nurse, and I can assure you that you don’t remember a patient’s vital signs by heart three years later, even if you review your notes before the trial. I forget them the second I take them if I don’t write them down. If someone talks to me while I’m taking them, I can forget them immediately and need to re take them. I’m sure she reviewed her notes about the patient’s mental state and the medication she prescribed, but not the patient’s exact body temperature or other specific vital signs.
