@crimetimeteatime: 😳 Not guilty by reason of insanity! that’s my verdict prediction in the Lindsay Clancy 1st degree murder trial #lindsayclancy #postpartumpsychosis
I hate what she did but I believe she was in psychosis.

y’all being not guilty by reason of insanity doesn’t mean that she will be let out! she will be in a mental institution for THE REST OF HER LIFE

I just think it doesn’t make sense that she was displaying evidence for years of a loving stable mother and then she flipped. There’s no way that’s not psychosis.

I don’t believe the jury will buy the insanity defense

This trial being publicly televised like this is beyond unethical

So she had psychosis, could not tell reality from imagination yet when she was awake and aware instead of asking about her kids she asks for a lawyer.

it really doesn't matter she's paralyzed, she'll be in a acute long term care facility either way.

State hasn’t proved their point to me so far. Not guilty by reason of sanity is what I believe will happen as well.

What does her coding and having to be brought back to life have anything to do with her being found guilty by reason of insanity

She met with her one time for 20 minutes and Lindsey was intubated. I don’t think that was enough time to make a definitive judgement of her mental status the night that of the incident.

Ugh...I think she was aware of what she was doing...to a point...only because...she hid things from her husband about medications & she looked up how to unalive. I do not believe she was giving the meds time to work before she looked for something else from someone else & she told her husband about wanting to get on Zoloft & that she could simply just tell a doctor she was struggling & they'd just give it to her....all while...she already had the prescription before telling him this. I also find it odd that he claims that day was one of her best days while she claimed it was her worst day & had been hearing voices all day yet she never told him?!?! This case sucks & I sure do hope that justice is served for those babies whatever that may look like & I hope that everyone gets the help they need to deal with such a tragedy like this.

I truly believe LC slid down from the window and didn’t think she’d break her back the way she did. The reason why she broke her back was because she’d been nursing a baby and that’s known to deplete calcium which Can weaken your bones 🤷🏻♀️she’s guilty.

Why is nobody talking about How the one doctor admitted after she had coded that evening she was delirious… even asking the nurse directly “ am I delirious right now?” and they tried brushing it off as in everything she went through the coding the surgery, but is the fact her experiencing ANY type of delirium not being contributed to the postpartum physcosis!!

An important thing to note is the burden of proof. The defence does not have to prove that she was in psychosis. The prosecution has to prove that she wasn’t… I think that’s huge. Seeing the depth of her mental health history, her reporting dark thoughts, the severity of her injuries… the lack of a motive? What motive would she have to do this- she loved her children, she wanted to connect more with her husband, there was no financial gain, it doesn’t make sense without a mental break.

She was definitely in psychosis. She loved and cared about those kids more than herself.

She is going to be found guilty of premeditated murder. There’s way too many confounding variables in her post suicide attempt mention including her spinal injury, and her actions during the actual murders are not in align with psychosis.

If she had a DNR why did they bring her back when she coded in the ICU?
