It’s my comfort game, but that is not a comfort level. Silence the idol is a psychic damage and never play again alone level. Erik is just too relatable when I can’t. I feel like a POS every time I play that level

genuinely: horror is comforting because it is a safe release of the adrenaline that builds up from anxiety. Outlast is very good at making you both anxious and for me- laugh. i laugh a lot playing this game cos of the absolute looney toons shenanigans that wind up happening in any given trial unintentionally.

RAHHHHH I LOVE LOCKSOCKING THE WARDEN! I love this game fr also every environment is fun except downtown. There’s just something so cool about the imagery and the repetition in the trials is fun without feeling too repetitive that it gets boring
