In the 90s I went to a job interview and walked into an auditorium with at least 100 other people. It was a sales pitch for some vitamin company pyramid scheme. Half the people there were all pumped after the hour speech. I was like….yall are tripping, this is ridiculous 😂😂😂

my ego had me thinking them boxes stacked at the new hire training was cook books. why would I want to sale cook books? cause it was $20 an hour - the job was downtown by my school. so after classes my instructors was about to have some new cook books! Them cook books was gonna get me & my gurls tickets to see Cameo(She's Strange) in concert. When the training male walked over and opened them cook book boxes! I had bragging rights. I knew what I was wearing to that concert! why that man pull out SOME FROZEN MEAT & FISH FILLET! I screamed. I stood up and walked out. I cried and cussed all the way home! I could taste them concert tickets! I had to calk my gurls, tell my instructors, and my momma said. " quick yo ass thinking you can start at the top - anything worth having gal is worth working hard for!"

A girl I went to school with was IN IT & she got me an “interview” I left right after we practiced mock sales/customer service calls. Said I had to grab something from my car & dipped. Blocked her when I got home 😂
