I feel everything you’re saying! My oldest daughter has a couple sibling from her father, their mom reached out to me…I told my daughter, she didn’t have any interest in meeting them. She was around 13 then. She’s 18 now, saw one of them in passing and kinda wants to meet them but does not want anything to do with her father.

I adopted my youngest (bio nephew) he will only have a relationship with his siblings and bio mom if it remains healthy and in the best interest of him. In fact at this point there is no relationship between him and bio mom because she is abusing substances-adoptive parents first job is protecting their child from anyone who can harm them.
