Got my makeup done at Mecca for my birthday, booked the same thing. I had makeup reference photos and she asked me each step of the way too if I liked xyz and if I didn’t she was more than happy to take it. I felt the end result was natural and exactly what I was expecting

As an ex make-up artist I used to get really confused with this when a client came in telling me they wanted a natural make up. They were actually saying neutral colours so like think tan sort of colours your browns very very natural looking colour palette. I remember the first client I had I asked them. Why would you want to get your make-up done? If you want a natural make-up look the second time I had a client who needed more make-up put on because she thought it looked like she was wearing no make-up at all. 😳

Definitely natural glam makeup. Maybe if it was the a similar look with just concealer it would look more natural then a full face.

I take in reference pictures and I always say I specifically don’t want blush on my temples and I want low contrast. And it’s never natural; I’m wiping blush off my temples and it’s not close to my reference picture. I have to be really forceful to the point where I feel rude to get the look that I want and more often than not, I go home and fix it up.
