I feel bad for the people around me too. What would their lives look life if I weren’t sick? What would my friendships, relationships, marriage, look like. Because it wouldn’t be the same. We aren’t a burden, but we carry one. Unfortunately, it affects everyone.

i miss the experience of what life is without derealization , agoraphobia and panic attack been having it since I was 12 years old now im 23 it's so sad just always battling mostly everyday in life maybe it's time to take meds but I'm afraid to try

I now have to remember to be careful and listen to my body everytime I stand up,have to walk around, go out and do social activities, and even errands when I’m used to be able to walk miles without paying for it. I was a cheerleader, did choir and even power lifted. Now I can barely step on a treadmill at its lowest speed. I miss who I was.

I read something that said "you will lose friends when you become chronically ill" i didn't believe i had a strong group and we were there for each other and always saw each other. Now I believe that statement as now there is no one😢 (except my partner who is amazing)
