@anny_zaya: I started this piece in 2020. At that time, I was full of inspiration and ambition, so working on such a large format felt exciting rather than intimidating. Then came the pandemic, depression, and the war. I completely lost the strength to continue and turned my attention to other directions. Now, six years later, I finally felt ready to come back and finish it. This is my largest kinusaiga piece: 120 × 60 cm, made from 1200 individual pieces of fabric. I'm proud that I didn't give up on it.
