I Rebuilt an Abandoned Fisherman’s Hut 😱🎣 I started with an old abandoned fisherman’s hut near the water. First, I repaired the wooden dock using new planks 🪵 Then I removed moss and overgrown vegetation from the concrete 🌿 After that, I took out the old damaged doors completely 🚪 Next, I applied a fresh concrete layer to restore the structure 🧱 Then I installed brand new doors for a solid entrance 🔩 After that, I added a solar panel to the roof for power ☀️ and placed a lantern near the entrance 💡 Inside, I washed the walls and floors thoroughly 💦 Then I laid a black insulation sheet across the floor 🖤 After that, I built the floor using wooden frames, insulation, and OSB boards 🪵 Next, I installed a window, electrical wiring, and lighting system ⚡💡 Then I constructed the walls using wooden framing, insulation, and OSB panels ⚙️ After that, I finished the flooring with durable rubber tiles 🧱 Next, I painted the interior in a khaki-themed style 🎨 Finally, I designed a modern fisherman’s hut interior with a full survival and comfort setup 🏠🎣 From abandoned hut to a rebuilt modern fisherman’s retreat 😱🎣 Follow for more builds like this | Like & comment what I should build next ⬇️ #fishing #bunker #rebuild

But if your goal is reducing plastic waste you also need to think about the tray you are using to hold them—fiberglass lasts around 50 years and is recyclable, unlike plastic which emits an insane amount of microplastics during the recycling process and is more prone to leaching toxins than virgin plastic. But fiberglass can be expensive and out of reach for many who want to take this journey! Wooden trays, on the other hand, is affordable and offers a biodegradable option that reduces the environmental impact associated with traditional plastic trays. The use of such alternatives promotes a harmonious coexistence with nature, ensuring that our gardening practices align with the principles of sustainability. We’ve been going down this path of investigating plastic use and coming up with alternatives for years and I’m excited to be trying wood trays this year. They’re nothing new (after all, this is what was used in gardens pre-plastic), but they are certainly new to me!
