I've always wondered because no one else's execution does this. so I convince myself that everyone knew he was a good person, and that's why his execution was quick and relatively tame compared to the rest. and he's literally carried by angels to the sky. ugh I love him

he considered himself dark and evil, but everything he did was for the sake of others. the twist of his execution is that he felt he deserved/wanted to go to hell for being who he was, but he wasn't a bad wizard at all, he took care of his animals and the others. hes the only one confirmed to go to a better place after his execution.

I am a huge Gundham kinny and he’s my favorite character, I was devastated once I found out he died. Once I realized that his spell was to save the devas, and the only reason he died was a sacrifice, I broke even more. Sonia takes care of the Devas and begged Monokuma to cancel the execution. She used his final words to resolve and survive the killing game. I personally feel like his execution was pointless, yes he killed Nekomaru but Nekomaru was a robot at the time, not a human. Monokuma killed Nekomaru, I feel as if Gundham should’ve survived.
