Hank is immune not because of his lack of intelligence; I’d argue the opposite, that Hank is quite smart and capable. I think Hank is immune to Goodman’s chicanery because he’s aware of how men like Saul confuse, distract, and manipulate to get what they want. Awareness of all your opponents tactics means none of them can take you off guard anymore
