Heavenly Father, As I step into this new month, I come before You with a heart that is both grateful for how far You have brought me and surrendered to all that still lies ahead. Thank You for carrying me through days I did not think I would survive, for strengthening me when I was weak and for holding me together when my own strength was not enough. Lord, be my strength where I am weary. When my heart feels overwhelmed, remind me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Where fear has whispered that I will not make it, let faith rise and declare that You are still with me. I surrender September to You:the days I can see and the ones I cannot, the doors I am praying will open and the doors You may lovingly keep closed. Everything in my life is safe in Your hands. Give me discernment to recognise Your voice, courage to obey Your leading and patience to wait when You say, “Not yet.” Let every step I take bring me closer to Your purpose for my life. ......And when I cannot see the way, help me to remember that You are still working. Even in silence, You are moving. Even in delay, You are preparing. Even in disappointment, You are able to bring forth a greater purpose. Nothing surrendered to You is ever wasted. Lord, hide me beneath the shadow of Your wings. Be my refuge from the storms I cannot control and my protection from dangers I cannot see. Cover my mind, my family, my work, my dreams and every part of my journey. Hear every prayer I have prayer;even the ones for which I have no words. You know the desires buried deep within my heart. Where my faith has grown tired, breathe on it again. Where hope has faded, restore it. Where I have been wounded, heal me completely. Restore me, Lord. Restore my joy. Restore my courage. Restore my confidence in You. Restore the places in me that disappointment tried to destroy. Let what broke me become the place through which Your grace shines most brightly. As I enter September, I choose faith over fear, peace over anxiety and surrender over striving. I will not carry tomorrow before it arrives, because You are already there. May this month find me stronger in faith, deeper in prayer, wiser in spirit and closer to You than ever before. I step into September not because I know everything that will happen, but because I know You will be there. I am held. I am guided. I am protected. I am being restored. And by Your grace, I will keep moving forward. In the mighty, faithful, and unchanging name of Jesus Christ, Amen. 🙏🏽
