Everyone is just larping about their license, literally you change the gears by looking at the rpm if you don't know the sound + I drove 2 cars, 1 had 2000rpm 40km/h in gear 2 and the other one 2300rpm 40km/h at gear 3

honesly, i learned to do it anywhere from 2-3k for a diesel and 3-4k for most petrols. with the lower number being just relaxed driving around and the higher being pulling out somewhere with loads of traffic and getting up to highway speeds quickly
