Layoffs are nearly guaranteed in this industry. 6. High pay comes and goes so you could be making way less than what pilots make now for half your career. 7. It’s constant non stop training and studying and fighting to pass a first class medical your entire career.

Genuinely the best job in the world. You get to fly, you never take your work home with you. You get an amazing amount of work-life balance in terms of total days off. Personally I wouldn't even mind working weekends and holidays as long as other days are off. Oh and pay is absolutely amazing too. Like what more could you ask for in a career man?
