Im going into s5 (technically in it just now) but in s4 i didnt do well i only ended up doing one n5 exam and I thaught i was defo gonna fail so did my teacher she didn’t have faith in me but I Got a A which I was so happy about in n5 drama so know I can take higher and even my mum said you don’t need straight As to be successful there is plenty of diffrent paths many successful people take !!dx

I did the same last year until I had to wake my son up at 1pm because I was like a hen on a hot girdle … still no results (didn’t sign up to mySQA) so we checked UCAS and he had his first choice… still don’t know the final results.

Agree with everything you have said! My daughter never signed up for them to be sent by txt. Currently waiting for the post man. We told her good results will make things easier and perhaps faster but if she doesn’t get the results she wants she will just have to go about things a little different.

I didn’t realise how emotional it would be for me waiting for his results . I had said all the positives like you said but I hadn’t taken into consideration how much the school and his pals had got into his head . The night before when he wasn’t sleeping I had text after text going from will it be ok if I only get x will it be ok if I only get y ! When I tell you how much anxiety I had about how I was going to make him feel ok if he didn’t do as well as he wanted it almost broke me ! He worked so so hard - I never put anything like the hours he did into his results - genuinely he couldn’t have done more and he totally smashed them . The drive came from him and when he went off to uni it continued . Not once after the initial day was he asked what he got in his highers but my goodness the pressure he put on himself 😳
