My aunty got her’s when she was in her 60’s. We all love it, and the pride she has. But I just don’t get how people are getting so upset about it. It’s not like you are telling them to get one?

They are also getting common over here in Aus, we even have Queensland police officers with a Moko Kauai. My BIL got his and I’ll be by my man’s side when he gets his done.

I love seeing them. I hold back from asking people what their story is unless it's one on one but they are beautiful and they make me smile because you know the person has a gift and they share it with those around them

A maori bloke helped me at the hospital after I gave birth - he was some kinda tradie doing some work there. I just remember how beautiful his moko kanohi was. It blended into his face in the most natural of ways. As if it had been there since birth. It was easy to see why he had it too given how kind and gentle he was - his aura was strong
