yoh, i left a very high paying job as an engineer in the mining industry for almost 7 years. Big bonuses but it wasnt worth it. it was TOXIC. it almost took my life! it was horrific seeing people stepping on each other to move up. Sunday's were full with so much anxiety. resigned last year August. I had my resignation letter ready for 3 years. Last year when I submitted it, it was the best day of my life. I even recorded it 😂😂😂. ive felt so free since I left. only thing I miss is the money 😂. but atleast I walked away with my health, my dignity and my mind in check.

I resigned without a plan and now I'm running my own chilli business. It's only been 6 months. I am thriving and I'm not looking back. My nervous system is aligning to my true purpose and the benefits are to die for!! Corporate SA is a pandemic.

My new normal is....after work is sleeping pills and during the day is energy drink with grandpa with my ear-phones the whole day...I wake up because Ive got responsibilities that I can't shift for someone to take care of😢😞😭

I am at home for 3months now end of April, I couldn't take it anymore, that work place it was too toxic, they even said I'm not allowed to collect my diabetes meds at the clinic during the week it is their time, I must go to the doctor over the weekend whereas my pay wasn't enough to pay a doctor.

I resigned from TFG last week. I couldn't take it anymore. The toxicity there is on another level, and we were still required to produce results. I'm unemployed but I'm happy and I'm here for my kids. And my whole family is happy because I'm present physically and emotionally.
