@glamzilla: UPDATE : What I look like now 🫪 All my life I struggled with weight issues and when I got engaged to my now husband, we went to our doctor to start planning for a family. My doctor told me that if I remained nearly 400lbs I would have a hard time getting pregnant and that I would have a high risk pregnancy. The doctor recommended Gastric Bypass Surgery. After cancelling 5 times, I finally went through with the Mini Gastric Bypass procedure. I would then lose 225lbs over the course of 2 years. Because of the drastic weight loss, I had a lot of loose skin. So my doctor recommended Skin Removal Surgery. Last year I did that tummy tuck and breast lift. Yes, I am happy. Yes, I feel more confident. Yes, I get to wear the clothes I want. Now looking back… I regret all the years I spent believing my body wasn’t good enough. I criticized it, hid it, and blamed it for so much. I wish I could take away every cruel thought, every moment of shame, and every negative belief I carried about my old body. Because looking back now, I realize that beauty is a feeling and to truly embody it… you have to change more than your body : you have to change your mind and your heart.
