I feel so sorry for the Vet who euthanased my baby girl.... I was so traumatised.... the pain was excruciating. I cried so hard. I can only imagine what she felt.

I had my beautiful girl euthanised on Sunday 2nd August 2026. We had 17 wonderful years together and she was my world. 2 days later I’ve barely left my bed and the waves of grief hit hard. Today I cleared some bits: food station, bedding, litter tray and now everything feels empty. Even though she has passed, I still hope your videos pop up on my algorithm. You are such a wonderful human. Sleep well my darling Trixie 🐾

I live in a small town and was blessed to have our vet come to our house , we cuddled our cat , then he curled up in his favourite chair and as we talked to him and pet him she gave him his injections . My Husband and I cried so hard , and when I looked up our vet was crying just as hard . We have the utmost gratitude and respect for vets like this . It’s so much more than just a job for them. Thank you ❤️for having a caring heart .

honestly my vet has a candle in the front and when lit it signals that a pet is crossing the bridge with a sign that says grace and peace is appreciated. it let's the other patients know to chill out

I'm sure I must of appeared to be an owner with no feelings. Reality is I just stay strong and loving for my fur baby so I don't stress them. I drive home and save my tears till I can then and fall apart.

i lost my baby boy cat named baby last week due to FIP..i didn't euthanized him when he was diagnosed because i still have hope & his meds was on the way..but i did pray to Allah to take him & i told my baby not to worry for leaving me & go to Allah if it's too painful to stay..i assured him that we will meet again in heaven..he left while i'm at work..

I'm sure the vet who euthanized my baby and the baby we brought in from my mom's place needed a bunch of time to breathe as she was battling tears with us it takes alot of strength to do what you guys do ❤️❤️

It’s been years since as per several vets my “Mozito” is gone and STILL I miss him so much and I can’t accept he’s gone … you vets are very strong. I couldn’t 😞

My vet puts in a room. My Pomeranian was put on sheep skin on my lap. Then put to sleep. Then can stay as long as you need. Vets should be able to take time to recoup. It’s never easy.

We put our cat down recently and the vet cried along with us as we talked to our baby through the process. The vet was a rock star. Not sure how they do it everyday.

I had to euthanize my beautiful husky because her cancer took over. Now thinking back when the vet told me (mind you I already knew the moment she stopped breathing) my girl was gone after checking after administering the medication and I lost it to those words. She was very awkward and had to excuse herself and told me she’d give me some time with my girl. Now I’m wondering if she had to leave because it was getting to her. Those words still get to me though.

I know it was hard on my vet and the vet tech. They both were in tears after we had to euthanize my dog Cooper. He was well loved by them. Due to several major health issues, we saw them every couple of months. He was family. 💔

Give me time I know this may not be feasible, but what about euthanizing dogs at the end of the day not throughout. So you don’t have to see patients after such an emotional thing.
