@mamax3_gcc: I have no words…I’m honestly not even sure what to say. This morning when I called out sick because Colter had a rough night I wasn’t expecting to wake up a few hours later to Davin asking me to come check on Bailey. We found him in his favorite spot(just behind our bathroom door) and I just knew. All I could do was cry. Bailey was my first dog, my first baby. He was with me through all 3 pregnancies and newborn phases. He was my shadow, my vacuum cleaner, my foot warmer. He loved everyone, especially if you pet him or had food. He was so gentle and patient with the kids when they were babies, and ever tolerant of Charlie’s antics. When I left the house this morning there was no barking, no goodbye, just silence. My whole body hurts. I’ve had Bailey for 10 years. The kids have never known a life without him, and I can hardly remember a time before him either. I’m forever grateful for all the time we all had with him, but I wish it wasn’t over. Until we meet at the rainbow bridge. I love you Bailey Puppy 🐶
