I genuinely feel like $3500, in the grand scheme of things, is not a lot of money. I know adults with 20+ thousand dollars of debt. $3500 can be paid off in a year easily with a strict budget.

For those who don't understand. Some parents would use their underage children's names to pay bills because they have a bad credit score or in debt. Their children don't find out until they become adults when they find out that they have a bad credit score and have collecting of credit card debt.
