This was always going to happen even if we had remained in Europe (albeit slower) UK manufacturing cannot compete with foreign producers as the price of labour etc is cheaper in “developing” countries. Poland may be doing well but Germany, France etc are experiencing the same issues now. Germany’s economy based on the car industry is failing fast due to China’s increasing dominance in this market. Europe as a whole is slow to learn the lessons being taught by the far east. India’s economy is booming, the USA by introducing tariffs are just delaying the inevitable. 🙏🌹
