@ghanaianmuseum: On this day in history, 52 years ago, on 4 August 1974, Ghana changed from driving on the left side of the road to driving on the right under the nationwide campaign known as “Operation Keep Right.” The change brought Ghana’s road system into line with neighbouring West African countries, making cross-border travel and trade easier. After months of public education, new road signs and traffic preparations, motorists across the country made one of the most remarkable transport changes in Ghana’s history.
