The ultimate test of intelligence is if you create the kinda life you want and enjoy. Knowing a lot about a particular topic or topics and still not being able to apply said principles in your life isn’t being smart. But if you can gather as little knowledge as you can and apply it to your everyday life amassing wealth with it, then that’s being smart. If a monkey knows all about how to swim, the technique and all and still don’t know how to swim. Is he truly smart?

I think it all ball down to personal Values.. cause from you argument you can also say that smart people worship intellect” might be stereotyping. Not all intelligent people dismiss money. Some value stability, some don’t. Same for less formal educated folks. Many aren’t chasing status, they’re just trying to get by.

Well, as a freelancer I will answer from my pov, I have worked with lots of people and I noticed people that are too smart and intelligent finds it hard to make money and those that are mid make those money, I came to realize that, hustling doesn’t need perfection, it needs desperation and continuous activities, smart people think about getting it done perfectly, using advanced English to communicate with clients, the mid people focus only on turning to client to sales, their conversation with client will be direct about the value they offer, however, they aren’t always correct grammatically but they will surely pass the message in desperation. And smart people always believe in themselves too much, but those that aren’t too smart believe system created and go all in.
