I can see how she panicked. My mother just requested someone get on the intercom and tell us to return to the gate. That worked for us.

This is what happens when you grow up without being taught how to regulate your own emotions. Children should begin to be taught starting around three years. Parents should keep teaching them up to the point they become adults.
