623 km. 93 loops. This one was about much more than distance. Short before the start, everything around me changed and I found myself heading into this with a team I didn't knew. There was no time to plan, only time to adapt. But once we got there, none of that mattered anymore. We were there to work. @samharvey_cloudlander, Leon,@ziel.verfolger and @tillweber.work by my side - my family and the rest of my team supporting from afar. And then it became simple: loop by loop. There were highs and some very deep lows. The atmosphere wasn't always easy, but we focused on what we could control and created our own energy. We worked. We fought. We kept moving forward. 93 loops give you a lot of time to think. About running. About life. About the people around you. About what really matters and what doesn't. In the end, 630 km wasn't enough for the result we came for. But sometimes you leave with something different. We learned. We grew. And a team that had very little time to prepare together became incredibly close along the way. One person deserves a line of his own here: @samharvey_cloudlander Second best backyard ultra athlete in the world - and even though we had no personal history going in, the trust between us was instant, and his expertise carried me through more low points than I can count. Thank you Sam. This picture somehow says more than I could put into words. One person in a huge field. 630 km in the legs. 94 loops in the mind. Exhausted. Grateful. Proud. Not the ending we came for. But definitely a chapter I'll never forget. Loop by loop. Always. Till next time. #Running #runners #fyp
