In all honesty I understand where he was coming from because when you grow up poor and you make yourself mean you build your fortune the stress is keeping the fortune and once you stop you lose it so the mentality of keeping it becomes your focus and you lose yourself in that sense yes he neglected his wife but he also was neglecting himself as well. It’s not like he was throwing a parties and living the highlife all he did was work work, work and work!! he took care of his wife gave her the best things money could buy, but he was suffering as well, but he didn’t understand!!
