@promptpilot66: Five days after ChatGPT came out, a developer named Fatih Kadir Akın started writing down the prompts that actually worked. He put the list on GitHub on December 5th, 2022. Three years later that list has 166 thousand stars, it is one of the most starred repositories on GitHub, and it is the most liked dataset on Hugging Face. It is also not a list anymore. It was renamed prompts.chat, and it is now a site with 2079 prompts in it, all free, no account needed to use them. Here is how you actually use it. 1. Pick a category instead of scrolling. The rows are Marketing, Business Planning, Image Generation, Video Generation, Web Development, Data Science, Education, Automations, Design, Vibe Coding, Learning and Skills. There is a search box too. The front page sorts by newest, which is the worst way to find something good. 2. Open a prompt. You get the author, the date, and a Versions tab, so you can see whether it has been maintained or dropped there once and forgotten. 3. Notice that the good ones are not text you copy. They are forms. "Write an Email" asks you for the tone, the recipient, the topic, the length and the language, and then writes the prompt around your answers, with your words highlighted in the template. 4. Press the green Run button. The prompt opens already loaded inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity or Copilot. You never copy or paste anything. 5. Add to Collection keeps the ones that worked, so you are not hunting for the same prompt next month. And the part most people miss: every prompt on the site is CC0, public domain. You can use them in work you get paid for, no attribution, no permission. One honest caveat. It is community submitted, so quality swings hard. Roughly half the library still opens with "act as a" and reads like 2022. Use the categories and the version history as your filter, and it is a genuinely good tool.
